The Big Ten Conference men’s basketball tournament has been held annually since 1998 after the men’s college basketball regular season is over. And the Big Ten Basketball Championship Game normally takes place right before Selection Sunday. The Big Ten Tournament is normally held at neutral sites. Past host sites for the Big Ten Tournament include the United Center in Chicago, the first site for the Tournament and the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Big Ten Tournament will take place at the Conseco Fieldhouse through 2012, when the residency agreement expires.
